A Force for Nature

Tell the Forest Service: Wolves Belong, Cows Do Not

The vast majority of public lands in the American west are permitted for commercial livestock grazing. While the managing agency is required to conduct an analysis of the environmental impacts of cattle grazing, these analyses are frequently inadequate and overlook the impacts of livestock grazing on native wildlife, particularly carnivores. WildEarth Guardians works to ensure that these analyses are as in-depth and accurate as possible while also working to close public lands to grazing with our grazing permit retirement program.
