Plan to Protect Greater Chaco

The Bureau of Land Management is undertaking a new Resource Management Plan Amendment that holds promise for defending the Chaco region, including its indigenous residents and cultural values. The plan won’t be effective unless it safeguards climate, protects public health, defends Tribal communities, and advances a just transition to clean energy and more sustainable economies. Right now, the plan isn’t complete, and so these values aren’t protected. Send a letter telling the BLM it should stop drilling, fracking, and leasing in the Greater Chaco Region until the plan is completed.
