Tell U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to actually recover Mexican gray wolves

In a huge 2018 legal victory by WildEarth Guardians and allies, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s prior management rule for Mexican gray wolves was rejected by a judge because it failed to further the long-term recovery of lobos in the wild.

The judge ordered a rewrite of the rule, but unfortunately the Fish and Wildlife Service’s newly released “draft” rule is barely an improvement—lobos are still barred from their historic range and are considered “nonessential.”

The good news is that we still have a chance to shape the final version of the rule. Now is the time to tell the agency to do right by wild lobos and put them on a path to real recovery. Please add your name to our petition today!
