Roxy’s Law (Senate Bill 32) passed through the New Mexico Legislature and was signed into law by Governor Lujan Grisham on April 5. Traps, snares, and poisons will no longer be allowed on public lands throughout the Land of Enchantment.
It’s important to hold our elected officials accountable when they fail to protect our environment and wildlife. It’s equally important to thank them when they do the right thing. Please thank your legislators and Governor Lujan Grisham for supporting the bill.
Note: This action will only send to legislators who voted “yes” on Roxy’s Law.
