Tell BLM: Don't Trade Human Health, Water Quality, Fish and Wildlife to Expand Superfund Site in Idaho

The Blackrock Land Exchange proposal is linked to Simplot’s Dairy Syncline phosphate mine proposal that we featured in our Public Lands Grabs report earlier this year. Phosphate ore from the mine would be pumped via pipeline to Simplot’s Don Plant for processing. The Blackrock Land Exchange would allow Simplot to expand the Don facility and waste storage area. The Don Plant is part of the Eastern Michaud Flats Superfund site.
